Ultra Performance System (UPS) is a patented technology that improves the performance characteristics of tufted carpet construction, with a proven track record of over 20 million yards installed. UPS bloc, the second generation, has the ability to resist spilled substances and keep those substances from penetrating through the carpet to the sub floor.
In addition, it allows vapors from sub floors and other humidity to escape. UPS is available on all of The Mohawk Group’s products that are currently manufactured as UPS construction.
